Windows 7 RTM build
internet: says connected but not b7600

HEllo experts,

i am using Windows 7 RTM (build 7600), but not able to get internet connection correctly, i mean: it says connected (internet access), sometimes it says no connection, but anyway the weird thing is that when i restart the modem (ADSL) or unplug and plug the LAN cable i have internet for a while, for few minutes (3-5mins) but later: it still says "internet access" but in reality i am unable to connect, then it (the icon on the tray) switches to "no connection " and then switches back but whatever it says i have no real internet access only for few minutes after reconnecting the modem to the laptop.
Checked: it seems the LAN device is installed correctly...

Any answer/comment is welcomed!!

ps.: no one answered, anyway I could fix this issue simply applying a hard reset (with the reset button on the back of the cable modem), it restarted, reconfigured itself and now my internet is permanent... Hoorray
