    help with xp and 7 networking


    Hello Community,
    I just built a new pc that runs on windows 7 pro my older computer runs on windows XP pro, I tried to create a network between the two computers but I am not being able to do so, I have read the tutorial as far as how to establish the network but when I try to open the file on windows xp I receive a massage stating that I don’t have a permission to open this file and I need to contact the administration!!
    Can anyone help?
    P.S. I was able to establish a printing network.
