Sharing between 2 Windows 7 Home Premium Not Updating

Hello,

I am having a very large headache. I have installed windows 7 home premium on my TV pc which I use to play all of my media I download from the internet, I recently bought a small acer PC for upstairs which connects to the shared folder on the downstairs computer. When I first connected to the share, everything was there, but, as new files are been added to the downstairs computer, they are not appearing on the shared drive upstairs. I wend in to permissions and changed an option in caching and it suddenly updated everything upstairs, so I thought I had fixed it, however, as I have been adding more files downstairs they are not appearing upstairs. So I tried changing the caching back to the original option but it doesn't seem to fix anything, the upstairs PC will not display the new files that are in the share folder.

OI hope somebody has had a similar issue and knows how to fix this,

Thanks in advance,

Badgerbailey.
