can only find computer with original name on network after name change

I changed the name of the computer and after name change remote desktop and SQL only connect to old computer name.
Remote desktop says that computer is connected to another console session but if you connect under original install computer name (even thought it is not that name any more) it will connect and work.
I have 3 computer in my network under different names that were imaged from the same computer, I can not get to any of them unless I turn 2 off and use the original name I can go to any one of them, or use IP.
Computer appears in Network but will not sign in says bad user and password but is not. Old computer does not appear in network but still can connect by Remote Desktop to old computer name
