    'Airdrop' for Windows

Is there anything similar to Mac OS X Airdrop to wirelessly transfer files between two computers running Windows 7?

If possible without an internet connection, but I'd still be fine if it requires one, since one of the computers doesn't have a wireless card.

Airdrop is nothing more than file sharing. If you have a workgroup or homegroup with Windows 7, you can put files in public folders and everyone can have access to them.

Small correction to an old thread

One unique feature with AirDrop which is very different from simple file sharing is that it doesn't need a router or an existing network to function. AirDrop will discover computers on an existing network OR it can discover computers via bluetooth and initiate an ad-hoc wifi connection to transfer files. I haven't seen something similar for Windows but I'd love a great cross-platform program to do this
