Can I have more than 1 router set to "automatically connect"?

    Heh, even if I wanted to...I don't have multiple Internet connections laying around. I just find the whole idea intriguing, that's all.

When I connect to my wireless router it says "linksys 2" but the ssid is just "linksys" so where is this 2 coming from and how do i make it go away?
at a coffee shop I frequently have the message on the troubleshooter "investigate router or broadband modem issues" when trying to connect to their public wifi 80% of visits when others can connect and access their internet including my Android phone. they try resetting the router but didn't work....
