IPCONFIG DNS info
Enter "ipconfig" at the command prompt and CONNECTION-SPECIFIC DNS SUFFIX info will be listed.
Where in Windows 7 is that DNS suffix info configured? Thanks.

Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter settings (in the left-hand menu) -> rightclick your active Internet connection and select Properties.
Next window: select Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click the Properties button.
Next window: Click the Advanced button.
Yet another window: Click the DNS tab. Here you will find various options regarding registration of the DNS suffix.
Entering the ISP's domain name in the "DNS suffix for the connection" field was the solution that the ISP came up with...and it succeeded.
Interestingly, I recall that they noted the warning message was seen only when using an Actiontec router.
Thanks for your input.
