Somehow an previous answer on this thread got deleted. I didn't do it.
He suggested this
in cmd
netsh winsock reset catalog and netsh int ip reset reset.log hit
It didn't solve the error, but the reset procedure as such ran successfully.
There is still limited access and a yellow triangle on the taskbar network icon.
I find it strange, this error could occure, because when I connected the ubuntu
and windows 7 computer I made no config changes to the
windows 7 computer. All config took place on the ubuntu computer. Stil the
windows 7 computer's network got messed up.
I also tried cmd ipconfig _release and _renew. No success.
I understand, I can mess up the network. I don't understand, it can't be
resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the wlan card
driver.
Wlancard and computer runs fine running a windows xp and ubuntu installation.
So it's not a hardware error.
Isn't there a procedure that completely resets all network settings.
I simply don't understand, if I remove the networkconnection and
make a new one, the limited access error is stil there.
To Darryl Licht:
I have the folder, and I can reproduce the folder anytime.
I have bought two windows 7 wlandcards. None of them can run
stable above 30ft and through several walls.
