Networking Glitch with Windows 7
I have a new motherboard, EVGA 790i Ultra SLI.
Which has two onboard gigabit lans..
I only have one connected, the other is disabled.
They are setup with manual TCP/IP Ver 4 Settings
Yet each time I boot into Windows 7, I have to reconfigure the network.
MSN Live, Intenet Explorer auto fix settings does work too, however why do I have to keep doing this everytime I reboot!
It shows the network disconnected on the second port and assumes no internet connection I think..? (disabling it makes no difference)
Even when not disabled (i.e. 2nd Port) it still has the same problem.
Should I connect the second lan port too and Bridge them?
Is there a way to check which is the default lan?
I assumed that 1 was used first then 2 was used next is that wrong?
