Command Prompt Shutdown problem
Hey I am trying to use my laptop to shutdown another laptop on the same wireless network. I open command prompt ran net view the other laptop name came up i used that to find the users ip address then i ran the shutdown -i where the pop up window came up i then typed in the ip address clicked add then clicked ok but nothing happened. I either got that message or Access Denied (5). I think i have to be the administrator of the user i am trying to shutdown but i am doing this from my own laptop onto their laptop. Is this possible and if so how do i do it?
