If AT&T porvides ISP to you it will work on any platform. they provide you with dns, and IP, but att&t doesnt care what platform you are on. You might want to tell us abt your hware as that could give you a little trouble

I do not have any specific hardware that causes me concern. I happened to notice, on the ATT page, that they do not officially support Vista 64 bit, although that is what I have ,and it works fine. I just, questioned the fact that with Win 7, 64 bit, I might not be able to use ATT. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 |

The only reason that it "might" be a problem is if they have a proprietary driver or software that you need to install. Is it for a 3g network or std isp?

Yes.
TCP/IP is TCP/IP. It doesn't come in flavors or brands. The notice regarding the lack of support refers to software provided by the ISP.
Example: You don't need to use AOL software to use AOL as your ISP. | My System Specs | | |
