Windows 7: Change Local Net 2 to Local Net

Change Local Net 2 to Local Net

I once ran across a simple UI item that allowed me to change LOCAL CONNECTION 2 to LOCAL CONNECTION.

It wasn't in the registry, and I am not referring to changing the name of the local connection itself. Just want to drop the "2" designation.

Anyone happen to recall where this is done? Frustrating to forget something that was easily accomplished in the past. ^_^ Thanks.
