Ok, So im in the BIOS setup and in the Onboard Devices There are two things: One says Onboard Marvell PCIE NIC [Enabled]. And the other one says Onboard Lan Boot Rom [Disabled]. Does this mean that its a Marvell PCIE NIC ethernet now? So which driver am i supposed to install for this.

We seem to have conflict here. Your BIOS says Marvel, but your TA690G AM2 motherboard specs say Realtek. Are you absolutely sure this is the model number for your motherboard? If you would, double check on the motherboard itself for a small white sticker with the model number on it. Be sure to also look for a revision number if there is one. Sometimes there are different revisions of the same motherboard made with slight differences.

Yes, I have used the method in the link, but it says it cant find the driver in that folder. And I have double checked and it only says TA690G AM2 on the motherboard. I cant seem to find a revision number. I remember I used to have realtek audio and realtek ethernet when I had windows xp, because I installed the drivers right from the CD I got with the motherboard. Did something change the ethernet controller? This is giving me a headace. Is it possible to just get another ethernet card nd put that in my computer?

Yes, you can do that. Be sure to get one from a reputable manufacturer such as NetGear and ensure that you have the correct drivers supplied with it.
You could try my method described in my earlier link here again. This time, make sure that you are logged into your machine in an account with administrative credentials and not a standard account. The account you created when first installing W7 will be fine, as this is an administrative account.
In the meantime, I believe that there is another way to install the driver, again from the Device Manager. I shall look into this once I am back on my own machine in about 6 or 7 hours.

Should really have thought of that.
In many cases, uninstalling a device which is not behaving as it should and then restarting your system can often correct problems if Windows is able to automatically reinstall the driver correctly.
