    Dial up Broadband acting weird


    I had been using BSNL broadband with dialup(bridge mode rite).

    Today the stuff got weird. When i press connect the window comes up and I can dial normally. Buy even when I am connected the connect button is still there. If I press again the "port is in use" comes up. Sometimes after some time 10-15 min Connected comes up. I cannot disconnect due to this.

    If there is connected written, I can disconnect but the disconnecting takes too long and I can't dial back for about 2 min

    Hello,

    Do you have the disks for your modem software? If so, I would see if there is an update for the software online and update. It may just be a bug. If it doesnt fix it or doesnt work then you can always re-install using the original disks.

    Just make sure you have the dial up details before you do it.

    I don't have any software for modem or from Provider.

    Looks like its now working all right.. Just shutdown for an hour .

PC Acting really weird.

Hi, I have some sort of problem here, and I am hoping you could help me. Sometimes, MY PC just freezes and I have to shake the Chassis to make it unfreeze again. What problem is this? Any help appreciated.
since 7100, my dial-up broadband has been sloooow to connect on startup. with 7000 it connected right away, but now it just sits and spins, sometimes for a good minute, before it finally connects. anyone having similar issues?
this is driving me nuts. things were ok in 7100, then in later builds my dial-up broadband connection didn't remember my password so i had to connect with a batch file. now, the password sticks, but the dialup won't connect automatically. if i do nothing, about a minute after i boot suddenly...
