Welcome screen delay
hello everybody .. its my first post here & i hope that i'll have answers
im using windows server 2003 R2 as domain controller and i have windows 7 professional x64 & one windows xp clients .
my answer is ..
when i create a roaming user profiles for the domain users some users on some windows 7 machines takes too long time to pass the welcome screen some times more than 30 minutes and some times about 10 minutes !!!
the roaming user profiles do not contain large data then i delete the profile path from the user properties and still have the same problem but less than before
i read that i should use the dns in the local network i did it and it really helps but not in this case & i tried to use fixed ip address on the domain users computers .
and when using the roaming user profile again i have delay on some computers
so what i a have to try .. can anybody help me please ??
thank you all
