access type: no network access

    access type: no network access


    hello
    I set up a new wireless connection and its done perfectly but I can't access from other device ( Ipod touch) the access type: no network access whereas the assess type it must be internet who do I solve this problem , thank you

    Welcome to SF,

    Do you have the SSID enabled from your router? Do you have enough DHCP Scope to hand out to your network devices? I have at least 50 IP's reserved.

    I have a usb modem using a 3 g connection and I try to use this connection as a wireless device and then trying to open the internet from the ipod, sorry I'm just trying to explain the problem very well cause must of your shortcut I didn't understand , thank for your advanced

    That helps a little. May I ask who is your Provider and the Make and Model of your USB Modem?

    so that I set up a wireless connection and the tcp/ip is automatically the same thing for DNS , but the access type is no network connection but I connect using this connection also THE IPOD saw the network but can't surf the internet

    okay, the provider is mobily from Saudi Arabia, the modem type is ZTE

    I am not familiar with Mobily. You may try installing Connectify in your computer, and see if you're able to connect your Ipod. It won't hurt to give it a try.
    Connectify + Windows 7 Laptop = WiFi Hotspot
