How do I get my inbuilt connector working?

Hi, just got Windows 7 working, I was running XP, and my inbuilt connector was working on it.

It no longer works that I can see. Does anyone know how to get it working please?

    First, welcome to SevenForums Tom.

Second, please be more specific and fill out your system specs.

Inbuilt connector? Like I said, please be more specific.

Hi and thanks for the welcome Kari.

Is there anywhere that tells me how to find the system specs? I've never had to find them before, even when I was running XP. The only thing I can tell you for sure is I'm running 7 on quite an old Systemax laptop with a Intel Pentium M 1.70 GHz and a Broadcom 440x 10/100 Intergrated controller for my inbuilt wireless internet connector.

    I hope this helps.

    You are welcome, Tom.

System information tells you everything you need to know. Click Start, type "system information" to the search field and hit enter.

OK. Before we install the new driver, let's see what the situation is now.

Right click the network symbol in notification area and choose Troubleshoot problems. Come back and tell what it tells for you.

I did that and it seems I didn't need to install it after all. I've managed to connect now.

    Thanks for the help. :)
