Windows 7 - Shared Win7 Printer-no connect from VistaPrem if no psw

Shared Win7 Printer-no connect from VistaPrem if no psw

Desktop has windows 7 7100 (64 bit)
Laptop has Vista Premium (32 Bit)
Desktop has USB wired HP j6480 all in one printer shared
Cannot connect to printer from laptop unless Windows 7 has login password enabled.

Any ideas on how to share this printer when windows 7 has no password

Yes, I agree, and this infact works, but is there any way to do this without a psw on the Windows 7 PC?

Enable autologon and when you start it you don't need to type the password!

Here’s how:

-Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to launch the “Run” dialog box.
-Type in control "userpasswords2"
-Press Enter. The User Accounts window will display.
-Uncheck the option “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer”
-Click “OK”
-You will then be prompted to enter the current password and confirm it.
After doing so, you will no longer be prompted to enter your password upon login.

Hi, was not able to get this to work. I got the following error message on entering "userpasswords2"

Oh, and in Windows 7 it's not userpassword2 , it's netplwiz
