Alright, it does not appear to be a driver issue, so try the following:

1. Open Start Menu
2. Click All Programs
3. Click Accessories
4. Right click Command Prompt
5. Click Run as Administrator
6. Type in "sfc /scannow" without the quotes
7. Let this finish. Restart your computer.
8. Run steps 1-7 again.
9. Run steps 1-7 again.

That way it runs three times and hopefully fixes all system file errors. If this does not fix your problem, report back.

Tried it, 3 times...no luck. Anything else we can try? Thanks

Your best bet is to do a Repair Install I've had a virus cause this problem before, and the only way I was able to fix it was a repair install.

You will need a DVD with Windows 7 integrated with SP1. You can find an ISO online by googling for official Windows 7 ISO and then burn that to DVD. Let me know if you have any questions during the process.
