If vpn server is working fine you can go on and test it remote. But what will you do finally?
  • connect remote pc to vpn-server only
  • connect remote pc to local lan
  • connect romote lan to vpn-server only
  • connect remote lan to local lan

bump still need help.

if someone just gives me a how too of what ip i put to connect to the vpn i think i would be alright.

the host computer is setup for incoming connection but when i set it up on my laptop im unsure on what ip to put in to connect to this home computer.

is it what i get when i go to whatsmyip or is it that with a port attachment.

edit:: i got it too connect on a home network but like stated not sure what ip to input when im on another open wifi.

also when i connected to the vpn my wifi had internet but the vpn stated no internet connection. this might be a problem.

So you were able to connect to vpn-server from your local lan is that correct? After that "also when i connected to the vpn my wifi had internet but the vpn stated no internet connection. this might be a problem. " happens on vpn-client? If so on vpn-client (still connected to vpn-server) open a "command prompt" and type:

route print -4

post to forum the routing table. Something like:
