    megaupload is down and i need some help with workaround


    how do i switch my dns
    U can work round this by setting your DNS manually to googles public DNS server at 8.8.8.8

    I know nothing about this but I did Google out
    of curiousity and found this for you:

    ok thanks im going to try it
    got it working changed my dns to 8.8.8.8

    I would never suggest arbitrarily changing your DNS Server to any old DNS. Instead use a tool that can actually tell you the best DNS in your area to use.

    Steve Gibson (A GENIUS) over at Gibson Research Corporation has created just such a tool: GRC's | DNS Nameserver Performance Benchmark

    This will benchmark and tell you which DNS servers are fastest in your area... Good Stuff here!

    But wait... there's more! Steve Gibson is a God among programmers, and many of his products are freeware! Back in the day his spinrite product made me a hero many times!

    LOL - I didn't know what I was missing!

    I only discovered this stuff about a year ago- but then
    again I only got my first computer about five years ago-
    Windows ME mind you- didn't I have some fun learning how to fix that!!

    The fix for Win ME was to format and install XP... easy fix! LOL!
