    Local area connection reinstall

Is there any way to reinstall local area connection? I accidentally uninstalled it while fidgeting around trying to get Xbox LIVE working, and now when I plug in ethernet cable from my xbox to my laptop, no connections are made.

Local Area Connection is automatically created by Windows during startup... as long as your ethernet port/card still functions properly...

Restarting your Comp didn't fix the issue?

Just to avoid misunderstandings: are you actually directly connecting your XBox with your laptop, or hooking each up to a router?
