Connectivity problems: Unidentified Network

    Exactly as I thought...
    Works perfectly on my laptop... pinged google.com, took 45 msec for a packet to get there so connection's working...

    the network card died just same time as you restarted the router? Very strange coincidence

    it can network, as almost any other live CD (i suppose they left it there to download additional driver/software in case part of the disk results as being corrupted/unavailable...

    It's an on-board network adapter, i will just switch it off...
    tomorrow i'm getting a new card, then...
    Now I want to switch from fedora to Knoppix on my laptop, i find it less sparkly and more SFW...
