File sharing on home network is not functioning properly.

Hi guys, i'm trying to copy video files from my bro's Windows 7 notebook to my Windows 7 desktop thru network sharing. problem is, it always gets interrupted/stopped. about 1 over 5 attempts the copy finishes, the other four as stopped. prompt says that the pathfile was no longer available. and after awhile when the copy stops, the windows explorer restarts by itself.

so i tried copying files thru flash drive. and i was surprised that the problem is still persistent, that the windows explorer gets restarted by itself. either while copying, or after copying..

fyi: the sizes of the video files i'm copying ranges from 150mb to 300mb. mostly mkv.
also i'm using D-link di520 (i know, i know)

*i don't know if this issue has already been posted but as i have searched there's none that states the same problem as mine.

thanks in advance for your posts.
