    Problems with accessing my router

    Hi All

I'm new in here so be nice with me

I have read lot's of post today since I have a STRANGE issue. I'm using a netgear router which I suddenly canīt use it with my 2 pc's to browse (have tried both IE & Firefox) but I have a MAC computer where there is no issues at all.

I haven't done any updates, installed any programs since last night when it was working perfect. My PS3 told me as well this morning when I tried to connect it there was some DNS issues, but have no clue how to fix this or where

I really hope that someone can help me since this is driving me nuts Have tried to call my ISP but no help from them since itīs working on the MAC and as well if I donīt use the Router.

I'm quite familiar with the different terms but not an expert at all

Have checked there is no proxy setup in the browser, have tried to make a diagnosis which is fine but again it said the DNS is not responding.

THANKS in advance for all your help & support

    Have a great Saturday.

    Carsten

olholm, lets go through this systematically.
    1. Did "you" setup your router or did you have a service like your ISP or Bestbuy set it up?
    2. Can you access your routers interface through a browser;should be either http:\\192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. You will need the username most likely: admin, then the password: this could be anything you or someone made it. If you can get this far, we can move on. Let me know.

    Hi bigwil

Thx so much for your message.

I set it up myself, and have been working for a year with any issues, but this morning it came.

I have been able to access the router interface with the cable, and have as well tried there to reset everything but the issue still remain
