Windows DNS service isn't responding (LAN Connection with Router)

Basically, I am trying to set up the wireless internet. I am not super tech savvy, however, over the last decade I have been able to research and fix all of my computer problems myself without posting such things. Until now.

I need to set up the wireless router; however, I cannot get the LAN connection to even work with the router. I have tried all simple solutions. Please guide me through this as you would someone with limited technological information.

The error is stating "DNS server is not responding"

Thanks for any and all help.

Welcome to the forum! What make/model is your new router? I don't mean to insult - but have you read the manual & logged in to the router to set up the configuration?

    Welcome to Seven Forums,

I agree, the exact make and model of all your devices (Modem and Router) would help.

Also, some ISP's requires Mac Cloning. Who is your ISP?
