Network problems between Windows Ultimate 64 RTM & XP P
I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit RTM (tech net). Windows 7 machine sees XP machine and can open shared files no problem. XP Machine sees the shared files/drives just fine on the windows 7 machine but will not let me open them. It can open the public folders. Both computers print to network printers just fine. I know I am missing something very simple but before I really mess up what am I missing.
The clean install went off with out a hitch. I had to load raid drivers but everything else went well. I screwed up and lost my messages and address book but everything else saved on other drives/ libraries were there ready to go. The lost files were my fault I got over zelous and removed previous backups, I was moving on. Thanks for the help
