Still have the problem. The internet disconnects and then cannot reconnect immediately. Just needs to be left for a variable amount of time to reconnect. Once it happenes it just keeps happening for a while but I do get long periods where all is fine. Sometimes on reconnect it can't see the networks and sometimes it says there is no problem on troubleshooter but still cant connect. Any furthur suggestions?

I don't have a WIFI adapter on this PC but there should be some trouble shooting options in the network and sharing center you could run. I'll have a look latter on when I fire up my laptop. Did you try running inSSIDer just to see what kind of signal you're getting? It might give you a better indication of which WIFI adapter will get the best signal. If you've been swapping a lot of WIFI adapters in and out it might be a good idea to run system restore to try and go back to a more stable setup. I had a lot of wireless problems as a result of my 2.4 GHz wireless phones. I had to switch to Dict 6.0 phones. Baby monitors, microwaves and other devices in the 2.4 GHz band can also mess up your WIFI.

Noticing you mentioned you bought your PC from "Overclockers" begs the question, are you overclocking your system? If you are go back to stock speeds and see what happens.

EDIT: Wifes been using the laptop and I've been busy so I haven't had a chance to look at the WIFI troubleshooting options.
