Sharing a printer connected to a computer

I have a small network connected via a router.
I have 2 printers connected to a computer running on windows 7.
i want to share it with a computer running XP on the network.
Can this be done??
PS:-
i am not that educated in networking so you will have to break it down for me.

did it work?

i took a look at that thread - good explanation if it works. But what isn't said is how one gets to the point where the systems are 'visible' to one another on the net?
I posted two [different] threads/questions relating to the topic of mixed Win XPP & Windows 7 clients on a common network - so far one of them must have stumped everyone - no attempts to reply yet - the other one almost the same... If you know of a broader, more detailed tutorial on the subject of mixing these on a network with no real server OS running, I'm all "ears"! thx
