| Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows 7 Pro 32-bit, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, Windows XP Home SP3 Tejas, northern Mexico | Win 7 client accessing server app on Win XP [not Server] here's an odd one I need advice on: a law office with a billing app that is running on a Windows XP Pro Sp3 "server"... not a server OS, but the package basically works. will it work ok with a windows 7 client, however? I am thinking the Windows 7 client can somehow join the lan workgroup that was setup for the XP systems. right?? |
