Hello, okay so I run a fairly popular Minecraft server for about 20 people on my desktop computer. well, I just traveled home for winter break from college and am having the hardest time setting up the server to work properly. my folks have Verizon Fios with the UltraLine series 3 9100EM Verizon Modem/Router and then a NetGear WNDR3700 Router for WiFi. the reason they have it set up is because the netgear router is much more powerful then the WiFi provided by the modem/router by verizon.
SO they have the FIOS line out the wall running straight to the Modem/Router from Verizon. they have the Wireless Turned off on this device. then the NetGear router is plugged into port 1 on the verizon modem/router with a static IP (the NetGear router itself). This NetGear router Dynamically assigns IP's and for some reason does not think any devices are connected to it when i ask it to show me the devices on the network.
i need to be able to change the NetGear to a static IP atleast for my server system but since i can't see a list of devices i cannot tell it to reserve an IP for my desktop. once i get this figured out then i need to get the port forwarding to work through BOTH routers, which seems like it will be hell to do to get the port to trace to my desktop ( i have tried turning on port triggering for both routers and praying it will trace back with no luck :/ )
if anyone out there has any advice or knows how to resolve my issue PLEASE post back

thanks very much
