NETGEAR Wireless USB Adapter Connectivity Issue.

Hi Guys, I recently got my NETGEAR N150 (150MB/s Wireless USB Adapter) today as my computer has no Wireless card built in. It can connect but after time it suddenly drops. I think if I get 300MB/s it will boost the signal range. I get a really slow speed too, the computer is in my bedroom and the Router is in the Kitchen and I can not move the computer - so that might be an issue but my iPhone can connect but occasionally I will have to renew the lease.

And my previous Netbook worked until some time until a certain point :/

If the Adapter stops working, to fix it, I unplug and plug it back in.

The Router I have is a VirginMedia 10MB/s NETGEAR DGN1000SP. I am thinking about getting a High Performance N600 Adapter instead as that has better connectivity and avoids interference, etc.

What do you guys suggest I do.
    Thanks for your help.

Check the channel you are using on the router and get it as far from cordless phone as possible. Try to use upper channels 6-11.

    Guys, problem fixed:

There was a Special Button on the Router I held and press, now get 4 Bars signal and around 600KB/s :)

Yes, I did change the Channel.
