Alex, I've given you a wireless suggestion, when you said hard drive, is this an internal HDD. I assume that you will be doing file sharing. So again, all you need is a Wi-Fi Card if you have not got this yet. Hopefully, the computer is not too far away from the WAP. How far is it?
thanks wonder dog king, this case has been solved. the cable Installer ran a cable directly adjacent to my router which was hard wired to desktop. the laptop connected wirelessly. thnkss guys
