No wireless connection, nothing showing in 'change adapter settings'

    Hi guys,

I am trying to fix my friends wireless connection here, im a mac user and not very good on windows so i dont know what to do. I am following some you tube videos for help. As far as i know in 'change adaptor settings' you should be able to see your LAN and wireless connection to enable or disable but the thing is there is no wireless option in there? and it did used to work before.

My friend told me that she used to have XP and another friend of hers upgraded it to windows 7 for her.

    Thanks for any help
