Is bandwidth used when moving files from computer to network drive

    Is bandwidth used when moving files from computer to network drive


    So I have a a hard drive that is connected my router and shows up as a network location in My Computer. I was wondering if my bandwidth is used when I'm transferring files back and forth from my network drive and my laptop? How about watching videos from my network drive on my laptop?

    Do you mean bandwidth from your ISP?
    No. It uses bandwidth but your private network has unlimited bandwidth...

    Yes, I mean the bandwidth from my provider. I only have 60GB per month.
    So, it uses my private bandwidth...? Are you sure?

    Only data from the Internet would deduct from the bandwidth allowance your ISP provides.

I am rearranging my files on my PC. I have successfully moved all of the folders except one from G: drive to D:. One folder starts transfering and when it gets to the end it says "Operation was Ended by User". The files actually transferred to D: and are on both G: and D:. The Library still...
