do internet speed accelerators realy work?

    I have 25Mbit down and around 2Mbit up at home through cable. I would trade half my down speed for triple my up speed. I would love 10 down and 10 up.

    With 25Mbit down and a nice fat intertube pipe, I can use a download accel. and multiconnect to a source and get multiple streams at what ever the source feed is maxed at which does improve download speeds a lot.

    You can make arrangements with your ISP to increase your upload, not all ISP's will do it but a vast majority will if you pester them enough..... just depend really on the person you deal with

    Time Warner Cable... no go...

    I am waiting for Fios to get in my area. 35 down 35 up.
