What's happening across the network? - Incredibly slow

I thought maybe it was my computer or ISP but a look at the entire network indicates a lot of major routers are down. What's going on? And it's not just North America.

Have a look: Details for North America /// Internet Traffic Report

Hello,

That site is for ISP routers so its not your local network. I havent seen this site before so I dont know how reliable it is...

Can you confirm what is actually going slow? How many PC's are on your local network? What type of Router do you have? Have you restarted your router?

As I said, it has nothing to do with my LAN or my ISP from what I can tell. I thought it was local but the slow down seems to be WEB wide. Both Texas routers are down according to the site above. The whole North American web seems to be running at 70% with access times of 250ms+.

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about it. Below are some speed tests from last night. It seems intermittent in the picture but it's dog slow. Uploading the picture just now was slow.

The routers will belong to your ISP or another ISP which interlinked with yours. All the ISPs are linked somehow. Report it to yours.

I havn't seen anything different in my connection

The graphs on the site i doubt are really accurate I live 15 min from Anahiem and the graph showed no activity at all

I wouldn't worry probally had a downed server or something only thing i noticed uploading took a second or two to kick in but wasn't really a big slow down basicly the same as always

Maybe you need to do a speed test to see if it really did slow down

Why is my VPN connection so incredibly slow?
I have a VPN connection on my home Win7 Pro 64-bit machine to access files on the server at my office. I connect using Win7's built-in VPN protocol, using my office's static IP address. After the VPN connection is active, I can go to \\server\share and access our files, just as if I were sitting...

Windows goes into Incredibly Slow mode
My Windows 7 PC quite often slows down to a geriatric snail's pace. In this state the mouse pointer lags several seconds behind what my mouse is telling it to do (which makes positioning the mouse quite difficult), it takes ages to respond to CTRL/ALT/DEL, or to draw the Task Manager window on the...

Incredibly slow and unreliable internet
I am currently on an unlimited plan. Using this command in cmd: ping -n 1000 google.com the results returned were less than satisfactory with 1000 packets sent 964 received 3% packet loss is there any way to make this number a lot lower? or would i have to be looking to get a new ISP?

Just being incredibly slow...
Just recently I downloaded a game, Battle of the Immortals to be exact, and it was a .exe file. I go into my downloads folder and double click it to start the installer and I get the spinning blue circle that means it's loading right? Yeah well.. it just sits there FOREVER. I just double clicked it...

Host access now incredibly slow
If I access a shared file on the host through the network the access times are awful. The network performance is crawling along. It takes hours to copy large files. However when accessing other machines on the network the access times are lightning as I'd expect. This slow network performance makes...
