Is it possible (or even a good idea) to share same user profile over w

I have desktop upstairs and laptop downstairs on wi-fi

Is it possible (or even a good idea) to share same user profile over wi-fi?

How would i go about it?

Are you talking about syncing windows profiles? If you change one profile on one computer, you expect it to change the profile on the other computers on the network.

Not really clued up about this - but doesn't Windows support roaming profiles (like i use at work) or is this a non-starter on home/wireless network?
