My Internet Router is brand new Echolife HG532b (WLAN+2 red Ethernet Ports +2Yellow Ethernet ports+ADSL Internet Port+USB Port)

    Hello,

Check your router settings and see there's enough DHCP reserved for the Users. My Linksys router has 50 IPs reserved.

Also, it won't hurt to release/renew your IPs.

    An update will be nice.

How to Release and Renew DHCP on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7?

I tried what you'd told me ,, then no internet access on both computers ,,, then I entered some ip addresses in the IPv4 on both computers ,, still no internet ,, plugged-out the Ethernet --> Internet access came back on the laptop ,, so nothing done :S
maybe it has something to do with IPv6 !! Is that possible ?? [now: whenever I plug-in the Ethernet Cable I get no internet ]

I don't think that it has something to do with IPV6, that seems to be more like your router acting up. See if a Power Cycle would help. It doesn't matter that your router is brand new though, if the Power Cycle didn't help I would get a hold of the Manufacturer. Did your ISP provide your router?

Regarding this, you may the USB Port to share a USB printer or any USB external devices. It comes quite handy to share USB devices.

Just to clarify things. Both computers run fine at the same time via wireless, then you turn off the radio or disable the wireless adaptor on one and plug it in via Ethernet, you then can't access the internet on both or just the one connected by Ethernet?

When connected by Ethernet can you still access the routers configuration page?

Is this the same as yours http://www.pcwintech.com/files/scree...rmware/008.png?

    For a different modem,

    Port binding
It specifies the LAN interface to be bound for the WAN
    connection.

    yes that's my configuration page
I can't connect to the modem with Desktop but only via Ethernet (No wireless device connected to the Desktop) ,, when I do plug-in the cable to the Desktop , then I can't access internet on both Laptop & Desktop ,however, I can access the modem's configuration page via both Ethernet and wireless
