    router

How can I find out what the password is on my router because I forgot it? I'm trying to log on with my wireless labtop.

Probably have to reset it, Unless you never changed it from the default.
Then just type in the make and model on Google and see.

The default is 0000 on most routers. I know for a fact that Belkin routers don't have a password by default and Netgear routers have the password on the side of them. If you can't remember, reset your router to factory default and then add reencrypt it.

So what kind of router is it? If it has a custom password as rvbfan suggested, press the reset button while powered on to reset the password to its default value. You will also have to reset your wireless SSID and passwords.

    Linksys: admin/admin
    Netgear: admin/password or router

Not to mention your ISP login, and other credentials, if it's a router-modem combo'
