Windows Server 2008 R2 access problem

Hello, I have a strange problem here I did not enounter in Server 2008.

I'm trying to access one of the drives on the R2 server from my Windows 7 machine by writing \\servername\d$ and it keeps asking for U/P. I have created the same user and password as on my Windows 7 and put him in the Administrators group but still it refuses to let me in. If I use the Administrator U/P it works fine.

Any idea what the issue could be?

Thanks!
