Permissions & file/folder sharing on Work Network

Hi,

I have a home network with 8 PCs... some running XP, Win2000 and Windows 7. All PCs have varying account names--none with passwords. To get them all to see each other I could not use the Windows 7 Home Share and had to set the network type to Work network.

I want all PCs to be able to access each others files but I'm having access problems. How to set the folder permissions is an area I not too good at--giving 'Everyone' Full Control would seem to be the ticket but it's not working.

Any ideas? Do the PCs need to have passwords so remote systems can login?

Thanks,
Rusty
