Windows 7 and Roaming Profiles
Server 2008r2 domain (Server 2003 Domain functional level since I still have 2k3 DCs at branches) with XP clients that work just fine.
Windows 7 has no trouble connecting / joining the domain, but I can't get roaming profiles to work.
I've read what I can find from MS on the subject. (not nearly as much as I'd like to find) and even some third party stuff, but still no joy.
Not sure how far to go with details, so I'll start by just saying that I've created the profile directory on the server and assigned permissions per the MS documentation, tried tweaking permissions, even created the "username.v2" folder just in case I misread something, and so on, to no avail.
If anyone knows of a comprehensive document that I've missed in my searching, please post a link.
Thanks in advance.
