Windows 7 - Ethernet adaptor not detected

I have an Acer Travelmate 3273 notebook with Marvel Yukon 88E8038 ethernet controller. I recently updated from WinXp media edition to Windows 7 ultimate 64 bits. Everything works fine except my Wifi connection.

My wifi adaptor cannot be turned on by activating the wifi switch whenever I start the comuter after it is shut down for a while. The Wifi adaptor can be turned on after I immediately restart the computer.

I checked the Device manager after the first start and the restart. I found the Wifi adaptor driver is detected and is enable in both cases. But the ethernet adaptor driver is not detected when the computer is first started and is detected and enable after the computer is restarted. It seems to me the issue is due to the ethernet adaptor or Windows 7

I tried updated the driver from Marvel for Windows 7 64 bits and it doen't work. I tried disable the device and uninstall the driver, restart the computer and let Windows 7 reinstall the default driver. The computer still behave the same.

It would be very appreciated if someone has a solution for this issue.
