Need to reboot modem each time I switch between Win 7 and XP
I have a dual boot setup, Windows XP and Windows 9 x64. If I'm happily online in say XP, and I restart into Windows 7, it doesn't connect to my broadband modem - I need to power cycle the modem. When I do then I can go online no problem. If I then restart into XP, then the same thing happens and I have to power cycle the modem to get online. If I then restart into Windows 7 again, exactly the same thing happens. And so on and so forth - I'm sure you get the pattern
Before, when I had just an XP system, there was none of this nonsense. What the hell going on? More importantly, how I fix it?
IPv6 is disabled in Windows 7 btw
