    Laptop Internet Connection

I have been taking my laptop to a local restaurant that has a wifi and using it every Sunday morning. The last two weeks when trying to connect I get a problem. I click on the little "Internet Thingy" in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and I see that a connection for the restaurant exists but am having a hard time connecting. It seems to me that if my PC can see that there is a connection, I should be able to connect, but no. I have run though all of the trouble shooting steps to no help. I then can go down the street to a parking lot that has a wifi and connect OK. It is not my PC, but I can not for the life of me figure out why the restaurant internet shows a connection, but I can not connect. Any ideas?

Is it a secured site and perhaps they changed the access key? Try deleting the profile and starting over:

    1. Click Start then Control Panel.
    2. Open Network and Sharing Center.
    3. Click Manage Wireless Networks.
    4. Remove the wireless network for the restaurant from the list.
    5. Restart computer and reconnect to your wireless network.

Thanks for the reply. They do have an access code and I suppose it could have changed. I will check on that next time I go. I will also try reconnecting as you suggest. Thanks for the tips. == I just noticed your "Ham and Eggs" at the bottom. I like that.

Well I am at the restaurant now and the same internet code worked today. I guess it was just down that day. Beats me. Thanks for the help.
