    Using Computers in a Network

Alright, so, I've searched and searched for solutions but I just can't find any.

Hopefully you guys can understand what I want to do.
NOTE: I refuse to use TeamViewer, Remote Desktop Connection, LogMeIn or any other kind of remote connection software.

Well, I've had this in my mind for a year or so now, more or less over the past few weeks because my room has been occupied by my mother and I prefer not to move my laptop from it's dock (it's docked with the charger, usb hub, mouse, keyboard, etc.). What I want to do is basically have Network Accounts I guess you could call it. I want to be able to logon to my account and see my Desktop, Documents, etc. when I login. But I want to be able to do this from any computer within my household. Now, I guess I would have issues when traveling.

We all have 500gb+ hard drives so I still want them to be used, besides the fact, I don't want to go out and purchase a $500 home server from Staples or something. I don't want to have to purchase an online server. If I have to buy a domain, I'm fine with that.

Let me know of ANY solutions you have.
