Hi,

wheny try to enable ICS for the WLan or for the LAN adapter, I get the error message(s)

After that the option Allow other network users to connect throug......

Welcome to Seven Forums,

Click on the Start Orb and type services.msc press then press enter. Locate ICS (Internet Connection Sharing), make sure that the Start up Type is set to Automatically, then Start the Service.

Also, make sure that you assign Static IP on the LAN or WLAN settings.

1) What version of W7 are you running?
2) Are you an administrator?

If the answer to 1) is "Starter," then you need to upgrade to a newer version. Period. There is no work around.
If the answer to 2) is "No," then you need to talk to whoever the administrator of your machine is.

Hope this helps. :-)
