Media Sharing won't turn on anymore and stream to new Sony Google TV.. Hello. I purchased a Sony Google TV a few months ago and had it networking and streaming within an hour from my laptop using Windows 7 OS. Last week the TV stopped recognizing my pc, and when I go into control panel/ network and sharing/ and click Turn on Media streaming, it does NOTHING. I have clicked it and clicked it, tried to right click it, nothing. It worked fine for a month or so then it just stopped and I know it's not the TV because I can use my PS3 to send movies to and use an HDMI to connect to the TV, but it skips often that way. Any help is greatly appreciated as I have tried everything I know to do short of reloading the OS, and maybe flashing the BIOS but idk if that will help. It recognizes the Sony TV in my network but says it's unavailable and I need to cut media streaming on.. Which I have tried 100's of times, checked Sony for a possible firmware update but nope. Uggghhh.. Frustrated after three hours of trying everything I know.. Help me you PC geniuses, I'm in my first real year of Comp Science college after getting all the crap core classes done and will repay the favor to someone, someday..THANKS!! |
