Laptop Restarts when connected with Ethernet Cable

Hey everyone!

This laptop I'm working on is rebooting when plugged into the router. It works perfectly fine when plugged into my router but when the owner of the laptop plugs it into his router at home it reboots after awhile. His brother has a laptop which is plugged in also but it works fine. His tried swapping ethernet cables and router ethernet ports but still it reboots.

I'm going to have to go to his house tonight to see the actually problem in action but I don't know much about networking, I'm surprised I got my home network setup including wireless. Do you guys know anything I should be looking for? Any tips would be appreciated!
